The Ministry of Defense told about the exploits of the Russian Armed Forces soldiers in the special operation zone

On July 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation.

The ministry noted the actions of the guard of Corporal Nikolai Evteev, who, in one of the tactical areas of the special operation, carried out a combat mission to defend the positions of his battalion. During a fierce small-arms battle with superior forces of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a soldier killed several Ukrainian soldiers and evacuated three wounded colleagues to a safe zone.

By showing dedication, Yevteyev made a significant contribution to repelling the attack and deterring the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as saving the lives of his battalion's personnel. For valor and bravery shown in the performance of military duty, Guard Corporal Yevteev was presented with the Medal of Honor.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the actions of Guard Lieutenant Alexei Yefremov, who from the first days of his military service took part in active hostilities in various tactical areas. Thanks to the competent actions of the officer during the intensive fire action of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was possible to provide timely medical assistance and save the lives of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as to repel the Ukrainian attacks. Lieutenant Yefremov was awarded the Order of Courage for his courage, bravery and dedication shown in the performance of his military duty in the Guard.
