About 90 people, including 10 children, were evacuated from a burning five-story building in Balashikha, Moscow region. This was announced on July 31 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is specified that a temporary accommodation facility has been set up at the local school. Currently, 90 specialists and 28 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.

A criminal case has been opened into the death of a person as a result of a fire, the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region reported.

The fire occurred earlier in the day. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, one person was killed.
