Bandits shot dead a local beauty queen in Ecuador

The former "beauty queen" of the Ecuadorian province of Manabi, 25-year-old Esther Gabriela Murillo Cruz, was shot dead by unknown criminals, her partner and one-year-old daughter were also injured. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on July 28.

"Esther Gabriela Murillo Cruz was ambushed by two men on a motorcycle who fired at the car [in which she was]," the article reported.

It is noted that the model was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, but she died soon after. Her partner and child were hospitalized.
