Passenger train derailed in southwest Germany
A passenger train derailed in the Biberach area of southwestern Germany. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on July 27, citing a representative of the Stuttgart police.
According to preliminary information, several people were injured.
It is noted that part of the train is lying on its side, the roof of one car is severely damaged. Several wagons have completely derailed and are lying on a wooded embankment between trees.
Rescuers inspect the wagons. Police and emergency services officers went to the scene.
Earlier, on June 7, a freight train with 35 gasoline tanks derailed in Romania on the Bucharest-Craiova highway. Two fire brigades, special equipment, and a chemical protection vehicle were involved to eliminate the consequences.
