Rescuers have reached the circling area of the AN-24 passenger plane in the Amur region. This was announced on July 24 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"A ground group of rescuers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is examining the scene and conducting search operations," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
The AN-24 passenger plane crashed on the same day 15 km from Tynda in the Amur region. The aircraft was en route Khabarovsk — Blagoveshchensk — Tynda and stopped communicating. Later, his burning fuselage was found on the ground.
According to preliminary data, all those on board the passenger plane were killed. A criminal case has been opened into the loss of communication with the crashed plane. A technical malfunction and a human factor are considered as a version of the incident.
