Tennis player Rublev failed to reach the third round of the tournament in Washington

Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev was defeated by American Lerner Tin in the second round of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Washington on July 24.

The game lasted 1 hour and 32 minutes and ended with a score of 7:5, 6:2 in favor of the athlete from the USA. The Russian served straight six times, made eight double faults and made one of eight break points, Sport-Express reports.

In the third round, Tina's opponent will be Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina.

Earlier, on July 6, Rublev was defeated in the fourth round of the Wimbledon tournament against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The meeting ended with a score 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 6:4, 6:4 in favor of the Spanish athlete.
