Russia and Ukraine conducted an exchange of prisoners according to the agreements reached earlier in Istanbul. This was announced on July 23 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"In accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached on June 2 in Istanbul, a group of Russian military personnel has been returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. In return, a group of prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was transferred," the Telegram channel said.
