Earthquake of magnitude 5.8 recorded on the island of Crete in Greece

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred on the Greek island of Crete. This was announced on July 23 on the website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

It is specified that the natural disaster was recorded at a depth of 15 km.

According to the organization, the earthquake occurred 27 km northwest of the city of Kissamos.
