Modernization of two buildings of the Veresaev State Design Bureau will be completed this year.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the modernization of two more buildings of the Veresaev State Clinical Hospital, the largest hospital in the north of the capital, will be completed in 2025.

In his Telegram channel on Tuesday, July 22, the official wrote that a maternity hospital would open in the renovated hospital building. There will be an emergency room with an emergency operating room, departments of pathology of pregnancy, gynecology, intensive care, as well as physiological and maternity wards with individual boxes, the NSN notes. A total of seven operating rooms are planned, including high-tech ones. The building will be equipped with modern equipment: ultrasound, X-ray, intensive care and surgical equipment, the website writes kp.ru .

The mayor noted that the placement of the maternity hospital on the basis of a multidisciplinary hospital will make it possible to maximize the use of medical resources to help mothers and newborns. In parallel, the modernization of Building 3 is underway, where the Women's Health Center will open: it will operate according to new standards of outpatient care, Moscow 24 notes.

According to the mayor, the completion of these works will be the final stage of the renovation of the entire hospital, according to the Moscow City News agency.
