Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the national team of schoolchildren who won gold and silver at the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad in the Australian Sunshine Coast. The corresponding telegram was posted on the Kremlin's website on July 22.

"Dear Dmitry, Ilya, Vasily, Ivan, Artyom, Ivan! Congratulations on your excellent performance at the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad in Distance Learning, which was attended by students from 100 countries around the world," the message of greetings reads.
