A group of eight people who were injured as a result of rafting on the Bolshoy Zelenchuk River in Karachay-Cherkessia was rescued at the Arkhyz resort. This was announced on July 21 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Karachay-Cherkess Republic in its Telegram channel.

"The boat capsized and people ended up in a mountain river. Six people swam out on their own, two were found by specialists on the opposite bank and transferred across the river," the report said.

According to the agency, the group did not register the alloy in the units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. They added that four people and two units of special equipment were involved in the rescue.

Earlier, on July 4, during a storm on the Vuoksa River in the Leningrad Region, four people were rescued from the island after their boat sank. It was clarified that the incident occurred near the Rosy Dawn boat station in Priozersk. There were two adults and two children on board.
