Russian military personnel talked about a way to protect themselves from Ukrainian UAVs

On July 22, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) told Izvestia about their combat tactics during the assault. According to the fighters, the entire territory is controlled from above by enemy drones, from which the Russian military needs to hide.

So, a fighter with the call sign Jack, after coming under enemy fire during a mission, lost contact with the team. It turned out to be saved thanks to a thermal blanket.

"You put it on top if you hear a noise somewhere, the buzzing of "birds" (drones — Ed.). He sat down, lowered his head down," the military said.

As noted by Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev, such items have long been used in various foreign armies. The thermal blanket protects the stormtrooper from detection by thermal imagers. According to him, any movement by car is also suppressed, so all assault operations begin with hiking.

Vulnerable "Fort": the Ukrainian army lacks automatic weapons

Due to the shortage, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with cheap submachine guns of their own design.

On July 21, crews of the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the 40th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) as part of the North group of forces destroyed military equipment and concentrations of Armed Forces personnel in the Sumy region during firing missions. It was clarified that after receiving the necessary information, the gunners quickly moved into position and delivered precise strikes against the Ukrainian militants.
