At least 28 people were injured as a result of the crash of a training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force (VAF) on the territory of a college in Dhaka. This was announced on July 21 by the Prothom Alo portal.

"The injured are being taken one by one to the National Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery at Dhaka Medical College. As of 15:30 (12:30 Moscow time. — Ed.) on Monday, 28 people were admitted there," the article says.

According to hospital officials, most of the injured are students. Officer Lima Khan, who is responsible for managing the fire department, told the portal that the four injured were taken to the Joint Military Hospital by an Air Force helicopter. It is noted that the total number of wounded has not yet been determined.

The plane crashed at the entrance to the Milestone College. The crash was reported at 13:18 local time (10:18 Moscow time), and the aircraft caught fire shortly after the crash. Currently, eight fire departments are working at the scene. Some students have already left, but many are still inside.

On July 5, four people died in the crash of a light aircraft in Austria. It was clarified that the aircraft crashed in the forest in the Wald-Kinigsleiten area. After the crash, the plane caught fire.
