Two of the seven injured in the rollover of a shift bus in Yakutia are in serious condition. This was reported on July 21 in the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"As a result of the incident, 14 people were killed, seven were injured, two of whom are in serious condition. <...> The remaining 14 people are undergoing additional examination," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the height of the cliff was at least 30 m. 44 specialists carried out work at the scene with the help of 13 units, and the work of the department's psychologist was organized.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of Yakutia reported that 10 people have been hospitalized at the moment, eight of them are in moderate severity.
"Another 9 victims were examined on an outpatient basis – they were diagnosed with bruises and abrasions. One patient with an ankle fracture without dislocation does not need surgical treatment.
One person died due to life—threatening injuries," the agency said.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Sakha reported that a shift bus left the road and overturned in Yakutia, killing 14 people and injuring seven others. It was clarified that, previously, the driver drove off the road, which caused the bus to fall off a cliff.
