Four people were injured in an accident with a truck in the Orenburg region
An accident involving a car and a truck occurred on the M-5 Ural highway in the Buzuluksky district of the Orenburg region. As a result of the incident, one of the vehicles caught fire. This was announced on July 20 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"On the 176th km of the M-5 Ural highway, a cargo Gazelle and a passenger car collided. As a result of the accident, the Gazelle caught fire," the department's Telegram channel says.
The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the fire with the help of transport foam. Nine specialists and two pieces of equipment were working at the scene.
According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, four people were injured in the accident. It is specified that the driver of the cargo vehicle was moving from Orenburg towards Samara. He lost control of the car and drove into the oncoming lane, where there was a collision with a passenger car.
Earlier in the day, a source from Izvestia reported an accident involving a truck in southeastern Moscow. As a result, one person was killed and four injured.
