A man died as a result of a fire in an apartment building in the north-west of Moscow. This was announced on July 19 by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's office.

"The Tushino interdistrict prosecutor's office is monitoring the progress of a procedural check conducted on the fact of a fire that killed a person," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the deceased was a man born in 1965. According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was careless handling of fire.

On July 17, the Moscow Department of Health reported that a fire broke out in an apartment building in the capital's Severnoye Chertanovo microdistrict, in which two people were injured. The fire occurred in an apartment on the 22nd floor, then the fire spread to the neighboring apartment.
