There is a positive trend in the condition of a tourist from Saratov who was attacked by a bear in Kamchatka. This was announced on July 19 by the Minister of Health of the region Oleg Melnikov.
"The condition of a tourist from Saratov, who was attacked by a bear in a tent camp near Mutnovskaya Sopka on the night of July 18, is assessed by doctors as severe, but positive dynamics appeared overnight," the press service of the regional Ministry of Health quoted Melnikov as saying on the Telegram channel.
Later, Vargam Dallakyan, the chief physician of Yelizovo District Hospital, reported that the victim had regained consciousness. She was transferred to a local history hospital. He added that the patient was put into a state of drug-induced sleep, and now her indicators have allowed her to "wake up."
The attack on a tourist from Saratov, who was sleeping in a tent, took place on July 18. According to the regional Minister of Emergency Situations Sergey Lebedev, the woman underwent surgery and is now in intensive care. At the same time, the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory announced the initiation of a criminal case into the incident.
