The Governor of Krasnodar Krai stressed the importance of opening Gelendzhik Airport

The opening of the Gelendzhik airport is an important event for the Krasnodar Territory. This was announced on July 18 by the governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev.

"Now there are two air harbors operating in the Krasnodar Territory. This is very important for a resort region with such a huge tourist flow," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The footage published by Izvestia shows that the first flight from Moscow to Gelendzhik in three years was traditionally greeted with a water arch.

This week, an air harbor that has no analogues in the Russian Federation will receive its first passengers as the resort city prepares to meet them.

Earlier this year, Gelendzhik Airport accepted the first flight from Moscow in three years. The Airbus A321 aircraft of the Russian airline Aeroflot landed in the airport of the resort city.
