55% of hotel beds booked in Crimea for the velvet season

Tourists have booked 55% of the places in hotels and hotels for the velvet season. This was announced on Thursday, July 17, according to the press service of the Republican Ministry of Tourism.

In summer, travelers also tend to visit the peninsula. Accommodation facilities were occupied by 68% in July and 63% in August. The top ten most attractive vacation destinations are Feodosia, Sudak and Alupka.

The interest in the region is confirmed by the Russian housing booking service Twil, writes IA SevastopolMedia. In his rating, Yalta and Yevpatoria became one of the most popular holiday destinations.

Earlier in July, Izvestia reported that this summer the share of autotourists would be almost half of all travelers in Russia. Compared to last year, it should grow to 43%, the Ministry of Economic Development predicts.
