The crew of the D-30 artillery piece of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the control point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on July 17 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry clarified that the position of the Ukrainian militants was discovered by Russian intelligence officers in an abandoned house. After receiving the coordinates, the gunners deployed the cannon and, with an accurate blow, eliminated the control point of the enemy's UAV with personnel.

"An adjustment is coming, a minute or two, or a little more. And we are already shooting after the correction, we can immediately get into the dugout, either at the points of the UAV, or at the mortar calculations, that is, different things happen," said a soldier with the call sign Father.

When performing firing tasks, the gunners interact with the calculations of unmanned aerial vehicle complexes, which scout enemy positions and adjust the accuracy of artillery fire.
