Coach Leonid Slutsky has extended his contract with FC Shanghai Shenhua until 2027.

Russian specialist Leonid Slutsky has extended his contract with Chinese football club Shanghai Shenhua. The corresponding statement was posted on the team's official Weibo page on July 16.

It is noted that the new agreement with Slutsky will last for two years — until 2027.

In a year and a half of working with the Shanghai team, Slutsky played 64 matches in all tournaments, won 47 victories, drew eight times and lost in nine meetings, adds Sport-Express.
