More than a third of Russians (35%) are ready to refuse to buy a car from a specific dealer because of incorrect or inattentive behavior of the staff, even if they are satisfied with the price and terms of the transaction. The experts of Avto told Izvestia about this.ru Business". They interviewed more than 1.2 thousand respondents who have purchased a new car over the past year or plan to do so in the near future.

The survey showed that 30% of Russians would be repelled by the imposition of additional services and goods, for example, making unnecessary options or refusing to sell a car without related services. Among other possible reasons for refusing to work with a dealer, respondents named deception (15%). About 10% noted that they pay attention to long paperwork, long queues and protracted consultation processes. The poor condition of the interior was indicated as a factor by about 5% of respondents.

It also turned out that 80% of buyers start choosing a dealership with reviews. The experience of other customers has a decisive or significant impact on the choice of a car dealership for 70%. The vast majority (93%) of buyers study information about the model and trim levels in advance, but expect to receive final, comprehensive and professional advice at the dealership.

As noted by Daniil Shkurygin, commercial director of <url>, the classic "educational" role of the seller is decreasing, since customers come to the dealer not for basic information, which is sufficient in open sources, but for expertise and specific answers to complex questions. Trust in the dealer is formed in advance on the basis of digital footprints and reviews, while personal contact with the salon manager is crucial for making a purchase.

The day before, it was reported that during the period from July 1 to July 15 of this year, prices for new cars changed for seven brands officially represented on the Russian market. At the same time, cars of only one brand have risen in price.

Also on July 16, dealers said that on average discounts on officially imported cars in Russia range from 350 thousand to 950 thousand rubles, and on cars supplied by alternative imports — from 1.5 million to 3 million rubles.
