Traffic police reported a decrease in the number of taxi accidents in Moscow
According to the results of the first half of 2025, the number of accidents involving taxi cars in Moscow decreased by 5.5%, and the number of dead and injured in such accidents decreased by 35% and 3.2%, respectively. The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate announced this in its Telegram channel on July 16.
It is noted that in just six months, 800 road accidents involving taxi cars were registered in Moscow. In such accidents, 13 people died and 940 were injured in various degrees of severity.
"We urge taxi drivers to be attentive on the city's roads, observe the speed limit, safe distance and maneuvering rules, as well as work and rest conditions," the ministry said.
On July 10, the State Traffic Inspectorate reported that the number of road accidents involving personal mobility aids in January -June in Moscow decreased by 59.8% compared to the same period last year.
