Three people were killed and two injured in a triple accident on the Ussuri highway

In the Spassky district of Primorsky Krai, three people were killed in a triple accident, and two more, including a child, were injured. An inspection has been organized, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reports in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, July 16, at 11:55 a.m. local time. On the 481st km of the federal highway A-370 "Ussuri", a KamAZ truck, a Mazda Demio and a Toyota Caldina collided.

According to preliminary information, the truck driver drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Mazda. The car overturned, after which it collided with a Toyota moving behind it.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the KAMAZ, the driver and the passenger of the Mazda were killed. Two more passengers of the passenger car, an 11-year-old boy and a 24-year-old young man, received various injuries. The victims were hospitalized, PrimaMedia news agency clarifies.

The police have organized an investigation into the fatal car crash. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.

On the same day, a fatal accident occurred on the federal highway K-17r in the Novosibirsk region. As a result of the collision of two cars, seven people were killed and another was injured.
