The cornice of an apartment building collapsed in the center of Tbilisi, killing one person. This was announced by the Georgian Interior Ministry on July 14.

"At this stage, I can confirm to you that only one person was injured. He has been hospitalized, is in touch, and is receiving medical attention. We can also confirm that one person was killed," department head Geka Geladze told reporters.
