- Senior sailor Khaibullin evacuated a wounded stormtrooper from under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Senior sailor Timur Khaibullin was assigned the task of evacuating a wounded soldier of the assault group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and immediately went to the victim, despite regular mortar attacks from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian Ministry of Defense on Monday, July 14, told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation (SVO).
Khaibullin moved to his destination during the period when the shelling subsided, but on the way he still came under enemy mortar fire. Despite the danger to his life, he reached the wounded soldier and provided him with first aid. Under fire, he evacuated the victim from the danger zone and reported the new coordinates by radio, after which an evacuation vehicle arrived to them. As a result, the wounded stormtrooper was taken to a safe area for further medical care.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the skillful and professional actions of Junior Sergeant Denis Kornilaev, who was conducting aerial reconnaissance using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) when he noticed an AFU tank approaching Russian positions.
Kornilaev immediately established the exact coordinates of the target and transmitted them to the gunners. After that, the junior sergeant corrected the fire, and as a result, the attempt to attack the Ukrainian Armed Forces was thwarted — the tank was destroyed by Russian artillery.
Earlier, on July 13, the Ministry of Defense reported that Senior Lieutenant Artur Dagaazhik, as commander of a howitzer artillery platoon, directed the movement of a D-30 howitzer to a firing position and destroyed an enemy heavy drone Baba Yaga on the way.
