Tennis players Kudermetova and Mertens won Wimbledon in doubles

Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova and Belgian Elise Mertens became the champions of the doubles tournament at Wimbledon after beating Taiwan's Xie Shuwei and Elena Ostapenko from Latvia. The match took place on July 13 in London.

The meeting ended with a score 3:6, 6:2, 6:4 in favor of Kudermetova and Mertens, who were seeded at the tournament at number eight. Xie Shuwei and Ostapenko were ranked fourth.
