The lawyer told about the fine for cultivating hogweed in the country
For cultivating hogweed in a suburban area, you can receive a fine, the amount of which depends on the region. Lawyer Timur Hardy told the Prime news agency about this on July 13.
The lawyer noted that in many regions of Russia, Sosnovsky hogweed, which causes irreparable harm to humans and the environment, can be fined from 2 thousand rubles to 5 thousand rubles.
"For example, in the Moscow region, the fine, according to recent changes, is fixed and amounts to 5,000 rubles," Hardy explained.
To destroy the weed, the lawyer recommended contacting special companies that specialize in its destruction.
When removing hogweed from a suburban area on your own, the expert recommended taking precautions and wearing a mask and gloves, as the grass and juice can get on the skin and cause burns. Worse, if a weed particle gets into the eyes, it can cause blindness.
Earlier, on June 16, Alexander Mikhailov, head of the surgical department of the Be Healthy clinic on Sretenka, spoke about the treatment of burns from hogweed. He noted that first you need to cover the affected area from direct sunlight, then thoroughly rinse the affected skin with cold water and then use anti-burn products.
