An Israeli Air Force strike on an apartment building in southern Lebanon killed one person.

One person was killed when the Israeli Air Force struck an apartment building in southern Lebanon. This was announced on July 12 by the Emergency Situations Center under the Ministry of Health of Lebanon.

"As a result of an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Hiyam area, one person was killed," Al Jazeera quoted the agency as saying.

It is noted that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in its Telegram channel reported the death of a member of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement as a result of this strike.

On June 28, Israel eliminated Hassan Muhammad Hammoudi, one of the Hezbollah commanders in charge of anti-tank rocket launchers, in the Kunin area of southern Lebanon. It was clarified that during the conflict Hammoudi directed numerous attacks of such projectiles on Israeli territory.
