Russian athlete Nikolay Kovalenko has signed a two-year contract with hockey club (HC) CSKA. This was announced on July 12 by the press service of the Moscow club.

"Nikolay Kovalenko has returned to the KHL and signed a two—year contract with CSKA!" - follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.

According to Sport-Express, in the 2024/25 season, the striker played for the San Jose Sharks and the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League (NHL). The 25-year-old has played in 57 games throughout his career. In them, he managed to score seven goals and give 13 assists.
