The number of people poisoned by water in Dagestan has exceeded 350

In Dagestan, 372 residents reported symptoms of intestinal infection after water poisoning. This was announced on July 11 by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic.

"In total, 372 people have been registered with symptoms of intestinal infection over the past four days, 357 of whom are children," the Telegram channel says.

The ministry clarified that all the necessary medical care is currently being provided to all patients. In addition, 23 children have already been discharged under outpatient supervision after the poisoning.

More than 50 people turned to doctors for help.

On July 8, 110 people with symptoms of intestinal infection applied to the Central District Hospital of the Magaramkentsky district of Dagestan. At the same time, it was reported that most of the victims of the infection were children. It was established that they drank water that is supplied to the houses through water supply lines.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident. The next day, on July 9, the director of the municipal institution of the Magaramkent district was detained. A sanitary and epidemiological examination was ordered as part of the criminal case.
