Seven people were injured in a gas explosion in one of the residential multi-storey buildings in the Chitgar district in the north of the Iranian capital. This was reported on July 10 by the local ISNA news agency.

"The incident occurred due to a gas explosion. Seven people were injured and were taken to medical institutions," the agency's Telegram channel says.

According to Jalal Meleki, a spokesman for the Tehran Fire and Security Service, a gas explosion on one of the floors of the tower completely destroyed an apartment and damaged a neighboring house. The agency added that the explosion occurred due to the carelessness of the owner of the tower in handling gas.

The building was never put into operation, but people moved into it by court order.

In Rome, on July 4, an explosion occurred at a gas station in Rome. Several buildings and "dozens of cars" were damaged due to the incident. Residents have been evacuated from the neighborhoods adjacent to the explosion site. The Russian Embassy in Italy reported that there was no information about the injured Russian citizens.
