To the General Director of the Moscow Art Theater named after Gorky and the artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Theater, Vladimir Kekhman, were charged with embezzlement. This was announced on July 10 by a source of Izvestia.

On the same day, it was reported that Kekhman had found a large loan debt totaling almost 18 billion rubles. He had been searched the day before. According to preliminary data, the embezzlement case is related to the reconstruction of the Moscow Art Theater stage.
