The Kremlin named the conditions for the opening of the airport in Crimea
An airport will be opened in Crimea as soon as acceptable safe conditions are created. This was announced on July 10 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, the main aspect that is being taken into account when opening airports is ensuring the safety of flights and passengers.
The day before, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced that work on updating the airport infrastructure in Gelendzhik will be completed by the end of 2025. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the airport is ready to resume receiving and dispatching aircraft from July 10, regular flights will be operated from 08:30 to 20:00 Moscow time. At the same time, ticket sales to Gelendzhik began on the Aeroflot airline's website.
