New measures to support families with children will be introduced in a number of Russian regions starting in July. Olga Epifanova, Senator, chairman of the Social Democratic Union of Women of Russia, told about this on Wednesday, July 9.
"Regional family capital is being introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod region for those who will have a child after the start of the innovation. The amount of support will depend on the number of children in the family and may include both monthly payments and large lump sums," the senator said in an interview with aif.ru .
Epifanova noted that in the Kaliningrad Region, the monthly payment for large families has been increased since July — now it will amount to 2,217 rubles. Families in this region have an alternative.: Instead of a free piece of land, you can receive a one-time cash payment, the politician added.
According to the senator, in the Tambov region in July, all basic payments for families with children, including child allowances and payments for orphaned children, will be indexed by 4.7%.
"Starting from the same day, payments to reindeer herders' families will increase significantly in Chukotka: 22 thousand rubles per month will now be paid for a child aged 7-14, and 44 thousand rubles for teenagers aged 14-18," she concluded.
Earlier, on July 8, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that the average annual family payment, which families with two or more children will be able to claim from next year, will amount to 56-189 thousand rubles per year.
