On July 9, the Kremlin commented on the tightening of US President Donald Trump's rhetoric against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We are quite calm about this, Trump has a tough style in principle," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, answering a question from reporters about the perception of new statements by the American politician.
He also noted that the Kremlin drew attention to another part of Trump's statements concerning the conflict in Ukraine.
"We also heard Trump's statement that ending the conflict in Ukraine is more difficult than he previously thought. That's what we were trying to convey," the Kremlin spokesman stressed.
