The operators of the FPV drones of the Vostok group attacked the points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR

In the Yuzhnodonets direction, operators of the shock FPV drones of the Vostok group of forces carried out precise strikes on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the Karl Marx settlement. This was announced on July 9 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that as a result of the strikes, firing points, a dugout and a mortar were destroyed.

According to the agency, the whole process takes place fairly quickly and from a relatively safe distance.

"We press scan, it starts scanning all channels. If there is an enemy "bird" somewhere nearby, we will see it, and we can tell by its movement that it is coming towards us. That is, there is some time, we can react and go into hiding," said the commander of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) unit with the call sign Gor.

To get to the UAV launch point as quickly as possible, military personnel use cross—country motorcycles - this allows them to be less visible and quickly change their positions.

"The ground control station allows you to work from a safe distance. We install it, mask it, and launch drones directly from the forest belt. We put in a small battery — we don't need a loud generator," said the UAV operator with the call sign Cord.

Experts use lightweight portable antennas to control drones. They are easy to install and run on small batteries, so they are independent of the power grid and can be used in any environment.
