- Schoolchildren from Tula and a student of Moscow State University desecrated the grave of a Russian military man
Five teenagers were detained in Solnechnogorsk because of the desecration of the grave of a Russian serviceman. It is specified that three of them are residents of Tula, who specifically came from another region to commit a crime. A source told Izvestia about this on July 8.
"The attackers carried out their plan together out of ideological hatred. Three tenth graders came from Tula, a Moscow State University student from Dmitrov, and one of the accomplices turned out to be unemployed locally," the source said.
There are also unidentified persons among the suspects. Criminal cases were initiated into the incident.
Earlier, on June 30, it was reported that two men were sentenced to two years and six months in a penal colony for desecrating the monument "Eternal Flame of Soldier's Glory and Immortality" in the village of Kurskaya, Stavropol Territory. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Desecration of symbols of military glory of Russia, insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland, committed in public, by a group of persons").
