An electrical substation caught fire at a railway station in the Zaigraevsky district of the Republic of Buryatia. This was announced on Tuesday, July 8, by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"The central fire communication point received a message about a fire at the head substation (27,500 watts) at the Novoilinskaya railway station," the department's Telegram channel said.
The substation is currently de-energized. Experts started extinguishing the fire. In addition, a fire train from the city of Ulan-Ude is heading to the fire site.
On July 5, a fire broke out in the building of the two-storey shopping center "Solar Wind" in the north-west of Moscow. According to preliminary data, the fire occurred due to the ignition of the insulation of the ventilated facade. It was reported that about 100 visitors evacuated from the building.
