29% of companies face employee resistance when introducing new technologies. This was stated by analysts of the IT company true.code, who conducted a study on the introduction of new technologies. Izvestia got acquainted with the results on July 8.

According to a study conducted by the company, the human factor turned out to be the main barrier to business innovation. Almost a third of companies (29%) note employees' resistance to change, while another 28% acknowledge a lack of internal expertise. Only 20% of respondents are concerned about budget constraints, while 7% are concerned about the lack of qualified personnel.

Despite this, experts note a high business interest in AI tools: 30% of companies plan to implement them in the coming year, and 17% are already actively using them. However, 40% of respondents do not see the need for this yet. At the same time, almost half of entrepreneurs (47%) believe that replacing employees with neural networks is possible within five years, but 43% are confident that technology will remain only assistants. Only 11% of respondents believe that artificial intelligence will replace specialists over the next year.

Automation of routine processes is the leader among the key tasks that companies want to solve with the help of IT technologies - 47% of respondents chose this option. Data processing speed is in second place (36%), and system scaling is in third (31%).

"The results show that the business is aware of the need for digital transformation, but is facing organizational difficulties. Companies expect from IT solutions not just automation, but clear interfaces, reliable data protection and guarantees of timely implementation. This requires a deep understanding of their processes, experience, and flexibility on the part of developers," Artem Shelengovsky, CEO of true.code, explained to Izvestia.

On July 2, it was reported that the number of vacancies for office work in the IT sector exceeded 236 thousand, which is 34% more than in 2024. Meanwhile, the number of vacancies on the remote site has declined since the beginning of 2025. At the same time, experts note that the absolute figures indicate the unwillingness of employers to completely abandon the remote format of work.
