Viktor Strigunov, the former deputy head of the Russian Guard, was given a preventive measure in the form of detention. This was announced on July 7 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"As a result of joint activities of investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia, employees of the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the FSB of Russia and the Main Directorate of Internal Security of the Russian National Guard, Viktor Strigunov's involvement in the commission of corruption crimes has been established," the department's Telegram channel says.
