The Investigative Committee opened a case of a terrorist attack after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the village of Nizhny Mordok, Kursk region.

A criminal case has been opened into a terrorist attack on the fact that militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) injured a civilian in the village of Nizhny Mordok, Kursk region. On July 7, the press service of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia informed about this.

"On July 4, 2025, Ukrainian servicemen, using an FPV drone with an explosive device attached to it, purposefully attacked the house territory of an apartment building in the village of Nizhny Mordok in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. As a result of the incident, a 44-year—old woman was injured," the report says.

A criminal case has been opened in accordance with paragraphs "a" and "b" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"
