In Taiwan, at least 28 people were injured due to Typhoon Danas. This was reported on Monday, July 7, by the island's Central News Agency (CNA), citing the Emergency Response Center.

It is specified that a natural disaster with winds up to 14 points hit the southwest of Taiwan on July 6 at about 23:40 local time (18:40 Moscow time). Due to the dangerous cyclone, more than 2.8 thousand people were evacuated from counties and cities, and at least 28 victims are known.

Moreover, due to bad weather, about 495 thousand households were left without electricity, now more than 388 thousand of them are still waiting for its restoration. In addition, three high-speed trains were de-energized at night and stuck on the tracks, passengers were able to be delivered to their destination only in the morning, the agency said.

Typhoon Danas is now approaching the eastern provinces of China. The maximum strength of a hurricane in a cyclone reaches 12-13 points. Due to bad weather, more than 1.5 thousand tourists were evacuated from remote islands.
