Turkey urges the world to listen to Putin's forecasts

The world should listen to the geopolitical analysis and forecasts of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on June 24 by the Turkish newspaper Dikgazete.

"President Putin is one of the most important political figures in recent history," the authors of the publication said.

The newspaper pointed to manipulations by representatives of the NATO bloc, who tried to "portray Russia as a monster" and lull the vigilance of society. However, Putin has consistently defended the position that Russia poses no threat to any country or to the world as a whole, Dikgazete noted.

"The whole world claims that Russia has launched a special military operation (SVO. — Ed.) to protect himself, and that Vladimir Putin is a very smart leader for the world and for his country," the text says.

Summing up the two-day visit to Minsk, the Russian president also spoke about a possible meeting with Trump and noted the growth rate of the EAEU economies.

On June 25, US President Donald Trump said he had no doubt about Putin's desire to achieve a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. In addition, the American leader stressed that he had not discussed the possibility of a ceasefire with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, and added that the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict had proved difficult. According to Trump, communication with the Ukrainian leader also proved more difficult and caused a number of problems.
