In Kursk, as a result of excavation work, a medium-pressure gas pipeline was damaged. This was announced on June 24 by the press service of the city administration.

"About 350 private sector houses in the area of Tropinka Street and adjacent ones were left without gas supply, and the Eternal Flame at the Kurskaya Duga memorial was turned off," the administration's Telegram channel clarified.

An emergency team is working at the scene. Work is underway to repair the damage and restore the gas supply. According to preliminary estimates, it is planned to restore gas supply within 2.5–3 hours.

On June 9, it was reported that as a result of an attack by more than 25 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in eight districts of the Voronezh Region, a low-pressure gas pipeline was damaged. It was clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.
