Three people died in an accident in the Irkutsk region.

As a result of a car fire accident on the 90th km of the federal highway R-258 Baikal in the Irkutsk region, three people were killed. This was reported on June 21 in the press service of the state traffic inspectorate of the region.

"Police officers are investigating the circumstances of a traffic accident in the Slyudyansky district, which resulted in the death of three people. An accident involving the ignition of vehicles occurred on the 90th kilometer of the federal highway R-258 Baikal," the agency said in a Telegram channel message..

It is clarified that, according to preliminary data, the 30-year-old driver of a Honda Civic car entered the oncoming traffic lane, where he collided with a Sitrak tractor. The foreign car was followed by two more cars, a Honda Civic and a Honda Integra, which crashed into a car and a truck. As a result of the accident, a truck and two of the cars caught fire, which were completely destroyed by fire.

It is noted that two drivers and a passenger were killed in the accident. The truck driver and the driver of the Honda Integra were injured. Police officers have ordered a check on the accident.
