About 50 events will be included in the children's program of the Theater Boulevard

From July 3 to 13, parents with children will enjoy a rich program of the Moscow Theater Boulevard Festival, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"About 50 different events have been prepared for the children and their parents, including street performances, readings of plays, lectures, classes in creative workshops and concerts. The program will end with a poetry competition and performances staged by the young participants themselves," Sergunina said.

On July 3, the premiere of the play "Waffle Heart" with actress Julia Peresild will take place in the Museum Park near the Polytechnic Museum. On other days, theater groups will perform here, which will present performances of "Bogatyrs", "Uncle Stepa", "Sasha's Tales". Musical evenings are also organized for guests.

On Chistoprudny Boulevard, you will be able to watch performances, take part in readings of plays and listen to poetry.

Another venue of the festival is the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. Workshops are organized for children and teenagers here: they will be introduced to the shadow theater, taught how to make dolls and create audio projects. Those who wish are also invited to performances prepared by artists from Arkhangelsk, Pskov and Moscow.

Attendance of the events is free upon prior registration.

The Theater Boulevard Festival is part of the Summer in Moscow project.
