Bank ROSSIYA and agro-corporation BIO-TON have signed a cooperation agreement on the second day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025). The document was signed on June 19 by Alexander Shalenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Bank ROSSIYA, and Eduard Zernin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

The agreement is aimed at strategic cooperation involving support for domestic breeding and seed production within the framework of import substitution of grain and oilseed crops, as well as the development of the Russian crop production complex.

"The signing of the agreement with BIO-TON is another step in expanding our cooperation, which has been going on for several years. By investing in agriculture, the Bank not only helps agricultural producers to introduce modern technologies and increase production, but also contributes to strengthening our country's independence in the field of food supply. We will continue to actively participate in financing projects that make our agriculture competitive, environmentally friendly and focused on long—term results," said Shalenkov.

BIO-TON is one of the leaders of the Russian agricultural industry, a leading producer of grain, sunflower and industrial crops. The company also successfully sells its products on the territory of the Russian Federation, exports to Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan and other countries. The agrocorporation's business is growing largely due to investments in agricultural machinery upgrades.

As the chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Eduard Zernin, noted, it is important to ensure the foundation of the world leadership of the Russian Federation by providing domestic farmers with high-quality seeds of Russian breeding.

"Bank ROSSIYA is our strategic financial partner. We are counting on the Bank's expertise in project financing for the development of domestic breeding and seed production. The Russian Federation is one of the world leaders in the export of grain crops and sunflower oil. It is important for us to ensure the foundation of our global leadership by providing domestic farmers with high—quality seeds of Russian breeding," Zernin summed up.

Earlier that day, Bank ROSSIYA and the Alabuga industrial-type special economic zone signed a cooperation agreement, which implies cooperation in financing investment projects to expand the human resources infrastructure of the Alabuga SEZ and industrial parks, etc.
