Residents of Moscow are advised to use the metro until the end of the day on June 19 to travel around the city due to the forecast rain and wind. This was announced by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development on Thursday, June 19, with reference to the Traffic Management Center.

"According to weather forecasts, rain with thunderstorms and strong winds of up to 15 m/s are expected in the city in some places until tonight," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message.

The press service asked drivers not to leave their cars and not to stand near trees and shaky structures.

Earlier in the day, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Meteonosti news agency, said that the weather in Moscow would begin to improve by the weekend, RT reports. She noted that the second half of this week will be rainy and not very comfortable.
