The United States admits the possibility of attacking Iran's nuclear facilities. This was announced on June 18 by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, during a press conference with reporters.

"I can do this, or I can not do it," the American leader said, a broadcast of his speech was posted on the Fox News YouTube channel.

The American leader added that the leadership of the Islamic Republic had asked to be allowed to come to the White House for talks. Trump pointed out that it is not too late to continue the dialogue with the republic, as "a lot can change in a week."

"Nothing is finished until it is finished. War is a very complicated thing. A lot of bad things can happen. A lot of turns are being made. I would not say that we have won anything," he concluded.

Trump announced on June 17 that the airspace over Iran is now under full US control. He noted that Iran had a good air defense system, however, according to him, the capabilities of the United States in this area surpass the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic.

Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
